There hasn’t been a collaboration exciting enough to talk about here for a while, but I’ve been anxiously awaiting the launch of the Narciso Rodriguez for Kohl’s line. So last Wednesday, after staying up much too late to watch the presidential election results the night before, I got up at 6am to hit the store for the 7am release. Luckily, I managed to score all of the items I wanted online (with a 30% off coupon no less!) and was done with the shopping in ten minutes. The site didn’t crash either like with the Missoni/Target debacle. No crowds, no stress, no lines. It was now just a matter of waiting to see if anything would fit or if the quality would be up to par.
A couple of days later, I received the 9 items and while the fabrication was quite decent and the designs adorable, the dresses ran very large for XS. In my photos I’m pinching the back of the dresses by a couple of inches.
No luck here. The cost of alterations would not be worth it to me, so I might just keep the top.
Next stop? Neiman Marcus-Target collaboration for Christmas!
Hi Larkie,
Just wanted to say hi. I drop in once in a while to see what exotic lands you’ve travelled to. Great to see that your blog has been going for five years, which in human years is equivalent to 75 years!
